All of us have need for a sense of security in our lives. This is Good Shepherd Sunday and for Christians, that security comes from Jesus, the Shepherd. He tells us that he is in unity with the Father. When we go to communion, we are in union with Jesus. There’s our confidence; there’s are sense of stability; there’s our security. Listen to the voice of the shepherd!

When presented with the adulterous woman, Jesus didn’t back away from judging her, but he chose not to condemn her and to treat her with mercy and hope for the future.
