ARE YOU SOMEONE OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO…

–Has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic?

–Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist?

We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season. You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights and your faith story in a warm accepting environment.

There is no obligation for those seeking to initiate a relationship with Christ or to learn more about the Catholic Church.  However there is warm welcome, an experience of community and great opportunity to learn and grow. Please consider the invitation and spread the word to others.

HOW IS GOD CALLING YOU TO JOURNEY WITH THOSE INQUIRING ABOUT THE CATHOLIC FAITH?

Soon the RCIA process will begin. Our entire parish community is called by God to respond to those inquiring about initiation into the Catholic faith with hospitality, prayer, and witness. Each of us are gifted in different ways to be instruments of God’s love as we welcome and walk with those coming to know Jesus more intimately during their discernment of  initiation into the Church. Please take to prayer how you might be called by God to participate.  Could you contribute with your gifts of hospitality or intercessory prayer?

Might you serve as a sponsor or as a catechist at our weekly gatherings?  Are you called to invite participation and inclusion into ministries in which you already participate?  In whatever ways you feel called to participate, your contribution matters.

Please contact Jean Beneteau at the parish office or by email at jbeneteau@dol.ca to further discuss how your gifts will make a difference in the RCIA process.
